Angel Hierarchies in Heaven

•      Virtues – believed in performing extraordinary miracles and displaying heavenly signs.

Third Hierarchy

•      Principalities – carry out God’s plan during the ongoing spiritual battle for souls.

•      Archangels – serve as God’s servants and play a vital role in supporting and aiding humanity.

•      Angels – supervise and tend to the ongoing and varied needs, ensuring the welfare of all living beings on Earth.

Some Misconceptions About Angels

One surprising misconception about angels is that people assume that all angels are good. In fact, Satan was once an angel who rebelled against God. There are wicked angels who turned into demons and joined the forces of Satan.

Moreover, many people mistakenly believe that when individuals pass away, they become angels. The truth is angels have their own distinct nature and are separate beings created by God. They are not resurrected humans. Furthermore, perhaps, some people suppose that angels are created to serve us human beings, but the fact is they are made to obey God. Angels fixate only on God’s commands and not ours.

Angels are not to be worshipped

We are not encouraged to pray to angels for help. We should only pray to God through Jesus. Angels are servants of God, we are firmly to worship God and only Him.
