Human Nature

Human nature encompasses the fundamental traits and characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling, and acting, that humans tend to have naturally. It is a blend of inherent and acquired aspects of psychological, cognitive, and social behaviors that arise from both biological and environmental influences. Throughout history, philosophers, psychologists, and scientists have debated the extent to which our nature is defined at birth versus the influence of culture and experience. Despite the varied perspectives on human nature, most agree it involves the capacity for language, problem-solving, emotion, empathy, and the inherent drive for social interaction.
